November Happenings

Okay, I just realized a serious delinquency on my part, I skipped the month of November. You know, even if I'm late, I'll still fill you in on the goings-on around here. Not so for November 2010.
Mom and Dad came out for a Thanksgiving visit. We had good fun and yummy food!

I accompanied Madeline's second grade class on a field trip to Lake Pleasant.

Franz, randomly, got a call from a marketing company we had worked with in the past, and Stephanie Bugno Case, who runs an outdoor retail center near our office for the developer. They were short a model for a Saturday morning shoot at the complex and both thought of Franz, who was right down the street. He popped over and sat in on the photo shoot at one of the restaurants. Now his picture is displayed on a wall at the complex. It is at least 12 feet tall; hard to tell from the picture here. The retail center is decorated with lots of photos like this of models at their shops and restaurants; and Franz. With his new fake family.

Little Superman doesn't sit still, so almost every picture of him now is blurry. He thinks he can fly and leap from high places just like Superman.

Katie at a soccer game on the sidelines with one of her teammates, Alanna.

This was our first experience with soccer, and we love it! Great teams and coaches, great exercise, lots of personal growth. And, I am officially a Soccer Mom. So there.

Jackson accompanied me to the fall party in Katie's class. Here he is with Ms. Crane, Katie's teacher.

The kids did all sorts of cute crafts like this toilet paper roll pumpkin, and had yummy snacks.

Jackson (who was one of three boys his age there, and the only one who wouldn't stay in an infant seat), however, spent the party time wreaking havoc. Just look at his face. Need I say more? Before the next party, we received a group email from Ms. Crane asking that all younger siblings who are not confined to a baby seat please stay home. Way to go for early recognition there, Jackson!
