Kid Fun

The kids keep us super busy, but are lots of fun. Madeline and Katie are still in soccer (the season ends after February, I think), Maddie takes piano from an instructor who comes to our house (thank you!!), and Jackson destroys things for a hobby.

We just installed a front-facing carseat in Franz's truck for Jackson, who couldn't be more thrilled! He thought he was on a roller coaster on his first drive, gripping the armrests, gasping, and kicking his legs as fast as he could.

We dog-sat for some friends. Their sweet little dog is named Hurley. She was pretty nervous the first day, and never did figure out how to climb stairs, but she was a wonderful addition for the weekend. We miss our dog!

Jackson, the stinker, always has this sideways tongue thing going on! He just looks onery, doesn't he? He is sitting in his stroller watching Maddie's soccer practice. Between soccer practices and games, he spends lots of time there. He requires a steady stream of snacks to pull it off, apparently.

Here he is crawling in a TV armoire (the bottom half - we had to knock the back out of it so the equipment didn't overheat). If it looks like trouble, he wants a piece of the action!

Katie is sporting her freshly stamped Katie Bug T-shirt, courtesy of the shirt stamp kit Evan and Emily sent her. She is contemplating an ABC shirt next.

The girls think Jackson is a living doll, and as long as they keep him moving and the scenery keeps changing, he doesn't mind a bit. They scooted him all over the downstairs in this little tub full of toys.

Katie's t-shirt is so cool! I would have loved a t-shirt stamping kit when I was a kid. That's awesome. I miss Winston, too, Em. He was the best dog.
