The other main auction in town - Russo Steele - is one that we did not exhibit at this year, quite by chance. We had intended to, but the car we were going to display had a potential buyer on it. The buyer fell through at the last minute, but it ultimately prevented the car from going over to the auction.
The night I posted about the weather, the Russo Steele auction had a major, weather-related event. Here are a few links:

The state actually shut down I-17 north of Phoenix (just north of the outlet malls at Anthem for those of you familiar with the area). It is the only North-South transect of the state, and it flooded over.
Thankfully, the rain actually let up the next day, contrary to all weather predictions, and we were back to functioning fairly quickly. We have had some sprinkling off and on, but nothing else like the storm Thursday night.
However, for the poor car owners at Russo Steele, their cars are still stuck out in the elements and the fire marshall won't let anyone near them for fear of structural insecurities.
