Madeline and Katie had been hoping for American Girl dolls for a year.
The girls gave Franz this shirt for Christmas.
Katie got sick toward the end of our stay. She spent a couple of nights on a makeshift bed in the bathroom, and days on the loveseat in the living room. She missed church, but Madeline came home and read her new book to her to help her feel better. 
Grandpa and Grandma Cummings traveled to Rochester to hang out with us for a day. It was great fun to see them again!
