Super Saturday

It's been a busy day.

The Gottschalk family household held the 2nd bachelor party for Evan. I don't know how that turned out, but there seemed to have been a great amount of food consumed and games played. I'll let any of them post on that, however.

Mom and I took a trip over to Renssalaer to hang out with Grandma. We talked for a while, then Janet showed up, followed shortly thereafter by Judy.

The five of us had a great time visiting and Grandma prepared us a delightful meal, finished off with dark chocolate pieces and chocolate-raspberry Milano cookies. Nothing better, if you ask me.

We played 5 Crowns, which is so fun, and yet, we all sort of played in shock as Grandma continued round after round (a total of about eight or nine, I think) with only 27 points. Mom and Janet were both trying very hard to reach 100 first. By the end of the thirteen rounds, I was so tired. How amazing is it that Grandma (at 85, right?) was able to outlast and outplay me.
