Last night I stumbled across some leftover Halloween candy. Guess what I found that I haven't seen in at least a decade? (Geez, how old AM I anyway?)
NERDS
Instant flashbacks to Lana and her infernal Nerd blizzards at Dairy Queen.
They were cherry and coated in lemonade flavoring. They were really good, by the way. They tasted exactly like childhood.
Maddie tried them for the first time, too. An instant favorite. Is it the flavor pop? The unmatched sizes and lumpy surfaces? They tiny-ness? The whole box of a 100 candies all at once - that is so intriguing to the small person?
Tell me, if you know.

It's something about the flavor burst with a tinge of sour amidst the sweetness along with them being so tiny and colorful. You need to try them in ice cream with Maddie - see how she likes the Nerd blizzard!
Lana you were always gagging by the end of the nerds blizzard. It is incredulous that you continued ordering them time and time again.
