Happy four months, Jackson! I can't believe you've been with us that long already!
Surprisingly, Franz takes pictures of Jackson in, or next to, a fast car at least once every couple of weeks. Here are two of his favorite shots next to a Porsche.

Franz is so glad to have a buddy around. Jackson is quite content to sit on the couch with him and watch a game, too. Football and basketball both seem to entertain him. Can you believe that belly?! (Don't get miffed, Franz, I was talking about Jackson!)
Today we went in for his four month well check. I really like his pediatrician. He gave me the green light to introduce baby food, since Jackson is doing so well with his cereal, which we started last week. I was remarking over his broad shoulders and meaty hands, so different from the girls as babies. He told me that was one of the main differences between the genders in babies. This is probably not news to those of you with boys and girls at home, but I didn't know it. Another thing I didn't know, since I am always the last to hear anything, is that Tylenol and Motrin have had massive recalls. I don't know if this applies to adult versions of the drugs, but the children's versions are considered unsafe right now. The generics are safe, but if anyone has name-brands in their medicine cabinets, now is a good time to pitch them.
So, onto the news you've all been waiting for. Jackson weighed in at 15 lbs. 8 oz., which is in the 70th percentile for his age. His height was 25 in.; in the 55th percentile, and his head circumference was 16.25 in., ranking him in the 25th percentile. Sounds like the makings of a linebacker to me.

I love these new pictures. Oh so precious. And I love the new G-diaper in that picture of Jackson and Franz. Multi-colored!
