Actually it is the first time Evan and Steve have fished together in Lake Manitou in years (maybe ever!)! And, yes, the dredging has made a huge difference in our lake access and mobility and FISHING!
Twenty-one bass in 3 hours on a gorgeous Saturday morning! What could be better?
While DNR fights the noxious hydrilla weed in the lake, only residents' boats are allowed!
So, basically, the fishing is for lake residents and their guests only!
Maybe we should do this more often!!! Wanna join us?

A lady at my Bank told me about her son catching a 38" Muskellunge in a lake near Mentone... There weren't supposed to be Musky in that lake... What a nice surprise!
