It was quite an experience participating in the local Newlywed and Nearly Newlywed Games at the Round Barn Festival. Evan and Emily competed against two of Evan's high school classmates and their wives and another couple that was older, but had only been married to each about a year. Evan and Emily did a great job, coming in second to the older couple.

Steve and Carol came in second in the Near Newlywed Game. Both Gottschalk couples missed the win by just 5 points! But we did get to keep our canary yellow personalized Newlywed Game T-shirts! Much to our surprise we actually enjoyed the game on a very hot and windy evening at the Round Barn Festival in downtown Rochester.

Calli and I were happy to be in the audience, capturing the funny moments on video, as well as some still shots. There is footage of some of the event, in the possession of each couple - so if you're interested, you know who to ask!
