I am guessing, moss in a slow flowing stream.
Brian, you are the winner. This is a picture of algae blooms in a slow flowing hot spring. It reminded me of nasty black hair. Ewww.

YES! I want to thank, my Dad and Mom first, and Dirt Diva. Dirt Diva showed me how to drink "clean" water from a stream, much like the one shown.
