Mom and Dad's Visit

We enjoyed a great visit with Mom and Dad for an extended weekend over their anniversary.

Their visit happened to coincide with us watching our neighbor's house while he was out of town. (He told us we could use his pool, and we did!) He has a beautiful yard.

Jackson's best friend is his blankie. It was pretty amazing that he was willing to share with Papa. He still grabs pictures of Papa when he sees them and brings them over to me saying, "Baba!"

Arizona was in bloom during the visit, as we've had cooler temperatures than normal this spring and summer. Dad managed to capture this shot with a bee buzzing in to do his pollinating work on the top of a tall saguaro cactus (you know, the ones with "arms.")

Jackson loved this book of Franz's. He actually sat still for a long time with Madeline, looking at it. I had to pull him away kicking and screaming to take him to bed. He kept shouting, "Buh, buh!" for book for a long time.
