Lana and Kyle came into town on Franz's birthday, which turned out to be a rather crazy day. Franz was busy with work, I had a dentist appointment, I hadn't had a chance to make my grocery runs for the upcoming weekend in Mexico, I was the picker-upper for carpool after school, the girls had swimming lessons, and I had Italian class. Whew!!
When we all came back together that night at about 6:30, we put together a feast of chicken fajitas and ate on the back patio for the first time. It was lovely.
The girls were so, so, so, so excited! We got out presents and lemon cake and orange berry sherbet. A perfectly delightful end to a rather hectic day.
