Though the reporter had the address wrong (and try as I might, I cannot locate a correct address listing online anywhere) this little event happened in my neighborhood originally.
The original sighting says it was the 27500 block of 8th Drive at the foot of WestWing Mountain. There is no 8th Drive there. Phoenix and its suburbs are laid out on a numerical grid. The Lanes/Drives/Avenues at the foot of WestWing Mountain would be the 80th through the 90th. I know this because I live there. So, this happened somewhere in that range. Basically, it could have been on our street, is what I'm trying to tell you. I just haven't found out for sure.
