What fun it was to hang with Leslie for awhile recently! We had not seen her since she left here in February to work with the Montana Conservation Corps. Sunday, August 5, found her in Upland, IN of all places! Bridesmaid duties brought her to Hoosierland where she lent her service to a former IWU softball teammate in Marion on Saturday. Lana offered warm Hoosier hospitality, so Leslie spent three nights in Lana's spare bedroom and Evan, Steve, and Carol spent Saturday late evening with them. On Sunday Emily Jane joined us for more games and fun. We enjoyed a little time (and fresh peaches and ice cream) at Brian and Raendra's where we left Leslie Sunday evening. She flew out of Indy very early Monday morning. Brian's "early morning shuttle" provided the ride to the airport before the sun was up! What a guy!

Love the pics, Mom. Thanks for posting. I hadn't seen some of them yet. It was great to have everybody here. I can't believe how much fun we had (seriously). I didn't even mind hosting, which is a switch for anyone who knows me. :o)
