We have been busy, busy, busy here in Rochester! Who knew so much activity could take place here! First, my mom and Aunt Lil came up for a visit last Monday. We had a wonderful time showing them the hot spots in Rochester and have never laughed so hard. We enjoyed lunch out with Evan in Warsaw, some shopping, and a WONDERFUL dinner and visiting time with the "Gottschalk Seniors", as my Aunt Lil referred to mom and dad. Sadly, they had to leave on Wednesday, but were SUPER impressed with everything Rochester (and us Gottschalks) had to offer. Come back soon!!
Oh, but wait....we have more!! Then after a quick jaunt down to Indy for my 1,000th interview on Wednesday, Evan and I were greeted by my 2 very hyper brothers on Friday night. What a trip! We laughed a lot (see a theme?) and again did the nickel tour of our great town. But the real kicker came on Saturday night with what was seemingly an innocent trip to the Streamliner. Whew! Instantly, the Kubala boys struck up a bond with our waitress asking about the infamous "Suicide" drink and breaded tenderloin sandwich they had heard so much about. Considering neither of my brothers have drank caffeine since 1987, we were really in for a treat. After suicides, ultimate grilled tenderloin sandwiches, and a banana split as big as Montana (ate by only ONE person...can you guess?), we nestled in for a few movies and games. The boys unfortunately had to leave on Sunday, but not after a delicious lunch (I think) prepared by Chef Gottschalk Jr. (aka...me). All in all, it was a great week of visitors and we're ready for some more here in a few weeks!!

Your digital camera must be working now? We've been missing the pics from the Sweetgum residents. Glad to see you're back.
It's good to see pictures when I can't see the real people. I'm glad you guys are having so much fun, and that the interviews continue in a steady stream, Em. Sounds like Connecticut is coming up! Wow...good luck with that one, as if you need it.
See you soon.
The house on Sweetgum (formerly known as Time Warp Central) is now looking like a modern home. come check it out...ya'll.............
Four layers of wallpaper! What a nightmare! Do you have carpal tunnel syndrome now? Need to borrow a brace? I really wish I could see it but I don't know when I'll make it up to Rochester. Probably not until late June. Maybe I should send Mom over with her camera to give me a sneak preview because I'm getting antsy!! :)
We may have some more surprises on the way in 2006...
...no we aren't expecting... I was talking about the house... : )
