Well, Maddie, I believe they are called Bonk Beds because when Daddy bends over to tuck you into the lower bed, he will raise up too quickly and bonk his head! Then, when he climbs up to kiss the top "bonk bed" occupant good night, he steps down and barks up his shin and ankle on the bottom bed! All the while, saying a cheery "good night girls"!
