Maddie is so excited about her upcoming birthday! She received three packages in the mail last night from Gpa and Gma Chocolate, Gpa and Gma Forman, and Papa Bob and Grandma Elaine. There was NO holding her off on those. She checks the mail for packages religiously all year.
She picked "pasgetti and meatballs" and chocolate cake for her birthday dinner on Friday.
Funny thing is, whenever someone asks her how old she is, she will NOT say "three," just "two," with no further explanation. This is a kid that sticks to the rules! She still insists, "But I'm not fee YET," if you ask about it.
On a side note, she talks about the GOFR in her pretend conversations with herself now.

My favorite part of Maddie-isms - the entrance of new vocabulary into her imaginary talk. I can just hear the GOFR being a hot topic right now. Oh, Maddie! I miss you every day. And your mommy. Hope you had fun doing Pilates today! It's pretty exciting!
I think Maddie's new theme song should be Dancing Queen by the Scandanavian group ABBA
