Here is the latest transformation taking place at the Sweetgum residence!! NO MORE CARPET!
(That is a piece of wood on the floor to remind us not to walk on this section for a few hours)

Can I just say that I am so happy that you've changed that. I understand the oddity of carpeted kitchens and bathrooms...doesn't make a lick of sense. I only hope I can someday upgrade (probably not here, but somewhere) like you guys. Such inspirations!
removing the toilet was my favorite task... along with dislocating my shoulders and elbows ripping up glued down carpet. it was fun saving a couple hundred dollars though.
it is a vinyl flooring. We decided not to put in tile cause of the cost. We figured any amount of upgrade over that carpet would be a nice improvement.
I am not sure if I am more impressed with you ripping out a toilet or running the mini? Congrats on both accounts! Was HeMan your hero when you were little? Love ya, Rita
Looks great! I'm with Lana on the carpet in kitchens and bathrooms - we still have one bathroom to change. We definitely plan to put in tile or linoleum before we start potty training. :) I can only imagine the stench. :)

I can't wait to see it first-hand in a few weeks! Looks great!

Amazing, The difference is incredible, I love new look. What kind of product did you put down?
