Unfortunately, I cannot make the image any larger, but if you look carefully, you can tell we are at a water park. Kids are climbing a tower to the waterslide, while others are sliding down. A couple of girls are floating on innertubes. You can see their feet sticking up (with nail polish on them, of course). The boys have spiky hair, while the girls have "flips". One boy appears to be snorkling and one is swimming. Notice that Madeline didn't show the body of the one swimmng. It is under the water and cannot be seen.
I never tire of looking at children's drawings.
In case you haven't seen it, I must show you the drawing she did of me.

I wasn't sure who this was when I received it, but Madeline did tell me it had "grandma hair". I wondered which grandma looked like that. All questions were erased when the artist visited here over Christmas and saw this prized picture proudly posted on the fridge. She mentioned something about the picture and referred to "you" (meaning me). Maybe I had better check my mirror more closely. I didn't recognize the "do".
One more bit of art you might enjoy...

This is a reindeer and a snowman (with a long hat), that Madeline made while here celebrating Christmas. I love the unique perspective of each! But what I found most amazing was that she used my "big people" scissors and cut them out. Notice the deer antlers. Also, the round hole where the hat curves around was somehow cut out with big scissors. Do you like the snowman's giant snowflake?
I treasure the surprise works of art that land in my mailbox from my favorite budding artist! How fun that I can scan them and share them with you.
