Zoo!

We went to the zoo with some friends this week. Maddie met Sophia in August and we've had several playdates since then.

This is Sophia's mom, Catie. She also has 13 month old Wes.

We got a chance to feed some birds. It was really exciting. Maddie and Sophia did a great job and really enjoyed it. Katie liked to watch, and to try to eat the apples in the bucket for the birds. But, when a bird decided to hop on over to her for that apple, she started screaming, jumping and flailing around like she was being chased by a monster.
What a life! Catie and I joked that this kangaroo looked like he was posing for a picture to put with his online personal ad.
