This year, Madeline was a ladybug with heart-shaped red spots, and Katie was a pink princess. This assignment of roles created no end of problems for Madeline, who went around asking, "Why does Katie look prettier than me?"

Katie left her hat on almost all night. I put it on 45 minutes early and she even ate dinner with it on!
Jaimee Draper brought Jake and Jaylin over to join us for trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. Their theme was Star Wars if you can't tell. Katie - screaming once again because we want to take her picture. Pretty standard.

I have not seen Jaylin since she was maybe a few months old. I can't believe she's standing! And Jake looks SO grown up! Oh my gosh. I missing so much.
Did Katie manage to have fun trick-or-treating? Despite her hate of pictures, apparently.
