Well, she was all smiles just before the big cut. She begged for the haircut because she wanted to "look just like Mommy."
We went to Great Clips and got right in - no wait.
She didn't even flinch. Although afterward she confided in me that she had been "just a little bit nervous."
The serious "I just got my hair all cut off in a grown-up cut" look.
The excited, "I just got my hair all cut off in a grown-up cut!" look.

Maddie, your hair looks gorgeous, baby! I love it, and you do look very grown up. I can't believe you've followed the hair cut with the grown up - no sucking of the thumb. Nice job with that, too. I'm very proud of you and can't wait to see you again when you come to Grandma and Papa Chocolate's house in July. I'll see you there, and in August at your house!
