To those of you who couldn't join us in the desert, we send some pictures. It was beautiful. Many desert plants were blooming, lizards and birds were flitting around (so were Maddie and Katie for that matter). We went to a special butterfly exhibit and then had some ice cream treats courtesy of "Papa."
