I received a prestigious award yesterday: "Most Creative Pumpkin" at the pumpkin carving party down the street. My pumpkin's theme was "Poker Pumpkin". Every suit (heart, spade, diamond, and club) was carefully carved at intervals around the pumpkin. I poked holes throughout, to let more light out when I lit the candle. The holes ended up looking like bullet holes, also fitting a "Tombstone" theme. Any fans of the movie? "You're my huckleberry" -- Doc Holiday.

Your skills never cease to amaze me! You have so-o many talents! I didn't even know that pumpkin carving was one of them. I knew writing rhymes, designing flipbooks and scrapbooks, and creating treasure hunts were among your talents, not to mention, chocolate chip cookie baking and kabob making!
Congrats on the prize!
I bet ESPN would have purchased that pumpkin for its Halloween week World Series of poker tournament!
