We took Lana and Kyle to Mexico on a long-awaited trip. It was a great time and none of us wanted to come back to the USofA. I got a little forgetful when it came to my camera, so Lana will have to post some of her pictures. I only snapped a few.

Madeline and Katie and I hit the beach around 7:30 both mornings to see what we could see in the sea. The tide at that time was further out than it would be in the afternoon, uncovering a gigantic coral reef teeming with creatures. Plus, I found a dollar bill floating by. I'm sure all the cocaine had been washed off it by then. Right?

A sea anemone. A little blurry. Madeline also saw a small, sand-colored stingray swim by. The rest of us couldn't find it by the time she notified us. Too bad we didn't get a picture. Lots of snails and crabs, as usual. Madeline decided it was fun to pick up the little green sea worms tracking up the beach and chase people around, making them scream. Fun for her anyway. Franz and I were squirted by quickly closing clams in the shallow waters.
