Steve is waving from the blizzard in Indiana. Snow was blowing and the roads were drifting, but we took a walk before he left for work around 10:30 a.m., instead of the usual 8:00 a.m. By that time the snowplow had come through and the roads were pretty clear.
We stopped at our neighbors', to see if they wanted to get together for supper and a visit. Phyllis said she would provide the blueberry pie!
You can see the white-out from this direction. The road is behind us, but who would know!
Hope you are staying warm wherever you are.
Wish you were here, Madeline!
We could share hot chocolate and make snow angels!
Maybe Papa would even let you borrow his Mad Bomber hat!

Hellllllloooo, Eskimo!
Dear Papa, I am going to come out in a few weeks. I hope you're having fun. I wish you a Merry Christmas. And when I come out, I hope it's not going to be freezing! And I love you, Papa and Grandma. I know you miss me. And that makes me special. And I'm coming out in a few weeks.
Love,
Maddie Grace
