Here is a picture of us with our ship in the background. Usually, the ship would pull into a dock and we'd walk off a ramp to our port of call. Occasionally, though, it will stay in deep water and "tender" passengers to shore on smaller boats. That was the case in Grand Caymen, which is our location below. The ship was the Celebrity Zenith.
While on Roatan, Honduras (a tropical island north of the mainland), we discovered amazing views of the ocean, which could be seen from some summits on both sides at once. The island is very long and narrow. Maddie also discovered the iguana below (in the arms of a local boy). We all got to hold the iguana. He was really smooth and completely calm. He was wearing some sort of diaper, so I assumed he was held often.
Unfortunately, this picture turned out blurry. It was at the top of a hill where you could see the ocean on both sides, just like I described above.

Maddie's favorite place was the beach. She was so patient doing adult things the day we were in Cozumel, so we finished up the afternoon at the beach, and got to watch the beginning of the sunset there. Beautiful.
A discovered sandcastle.
Tropical paradise.

As much as I thoroughly enjoyed myself at your house while you guys were out adventuring in the tropical paradises pictured here, I'm beginning to feel a little jealous. I mean, look at these places! (I realize, Em, you already have looked at them...you took the freaking pictures.) The sunset with the dock is gorgeous! The stuff dreams are made of!
Hope you're enjoying American Idol as much as I am!
