On Sunday Leslie spoke to about 60 people at Grace UMC in Rochester about her AT experience. Everyone appreciated her humor and great pictures. A carry-in dinner (a favorite for Leslie) preceded her talk and slide show.
Leslie's hiking partner Megan Daly joined us for the dinner and added a few comments from her seat in the audience. It was great to see her again. Since it was her birthday Sunday, Leslie made a special birthday cake with "Rock Star" printed out in Skittles. Rock Star refers to the words on Megan's wrist band that Leslie got her on the AT.
