In an interesting conversation last night, Madeline gave me her top five career choices when she "grows up" and they are listed in order of preference:
- Princess
- Angel
- Star Leader (turns out this is a fairy in a beautiful dress carrying a wand with a star on top of it that can be waved around and around in quite an interesting manner - you should've seen it!)
- Babysitter
- Ballerina
Mostly, the common thread was beautiful dresses, which she expounded on to varying degrees.

I love it when a girl keeps her options open while she is young!
If she selects the right vocational school she might be able to train in all of them at one time...how to wear beautiful dresses and move arms (to dance, to bless, to wave wand, to hold septer, to hug a child.)
